Christine remains in pain, but keeps her fighting spirit. She has spent the last 2 weeks in bed, using the bathroom, or at the clinic. We hope and pray the doctor we see tomorrow can find SOMETHING to diagnose and treat.
Meanwhile we are BLESSED and grateful to our hosts. 🙏 We are living in a small apartment above the garage in a home owned by Winnfried and Maria Kern in Lautrach, Germany.
Thanks to the Kerns, we have a quiet and safe place to heal with lower expenses and a small kitchen for healthier meals. Maria and Winne have been angels to us, blessing us with so many acts of kindness:
- Allowing us to stay during their holiday away
- Providing us drinks and water
- Allowing us to cut herbs from their garden
- Surprising us with desserts and treats
- Always asking how they can help
Despite our ordeal, it is inspiring and invigorating to be blessed with such kind hosts and overwhelming hospitality. Thank you Maria and Winne!

Happy to see pictures where you are staying. It looks clean and comfortable! To be in a foreign country requiring all of this treatment and not speaking the language at all must be very difficult. You are in our prayers and believe miracles do happen😆
