100-Day Update: Life-Saving German Clinic for Christine Kohlweck Reitler.
Thank God she has FMT treatments banned by the FDA! Christine is sick but alive with seizures almost daily, low BP, low blood cells, dizzy, weak, and is still too thin. Typical Christine pushed herself too hard when her mom visited, got another infection, and 90% of her time is in bed or at the clinic the past 2 weeks. Please pray she gets strong enough to go for drives again.
We’ve accepted we cannot cure, only treat, her C. Diff. It’s become clear returning to the US is not an option as her specialist told us she would “expire in matter of weeks,” and my weak immune system is no match for rising unvaccinated rates.
