Warmest wishes to all family and friends celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah. God be with you. Christine and I have been in mourning and prayer for 2 childhood friends that lost their husbands, and our hearts go out to their families.
In the last 2 months, Christine’s agonizing pain has grown worse, spreading from her left arm to her neck and right arm. Her seizures are now daily. And with every seizure, she wakes up with more pain. Her medications never removed her agony, and now they are failing to break through the pain.

Some Hopeful News: a German hospital approved a spinal stimulator implant for Christine, with a 50% chance to lower her pain 50% or so. Multiple insurers and providers denied this treatment in the U.S. But we have to pay cash. The hospitalization, implant, medications, surgery, testing, and outpatient services total USD $42,000. Not sure how we’ll get there, but Philippians 4:6 says with prayer, petition and with thanksgiving present your requests to God. We hope and pray.

This is a heartbreaking situation! I am so sad that you’re going through such torture, my Christine. I wish there was some way. I could take the pain away from you. I am going to do my best to start a GoFundMe account. Jed and Christine are already working on the script.
